lets try again

I haven't posted here or the wine blog for about 2 months because I've been busy, I promised myself i wouldn't post until the cellar was done but i'm two weeks behind so screw that. I also got stage fright - I was asked to do regular columns for two sites - i wrote about half a dozen pieces, one which has been posted/published.
Then i pretty much discovered i had nothing to say.

So i'm having another go at it. Which experience shows I'll either post 3 more times and disappear forever or., you know, just keep posting.

Hi Mark. First-time poster. I just wanted to say that I can identify with that stage fright thing. Columns can be scary spaces. A blank page to fill with whatever you want? oo-er.

I'd be interested in reading the columns, though, if you cared to post a link...

Having nothing to say shouldn't stop you doing a regular column. You can just write about what you had for dinner, or make an observation about how kids of the current generation are somewhat dissimilar to kids from the previous generation, or complain that modern music is just noise. If all else fails, just copy/paste a 700 word email that you were forwarded by a co-worker and bookend it with 50 words of your own in an attempt to justify your paycheck. For further examples, read more columns in The Advertiser.
